The OSU Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program is offering, in partnership with Massillon Public Library, a FREE series of programs for families with children, on how to stretch food dollars.
This FREE program will help families with children explore nutrition, creative ideas on how to keep families active, parent tips, ways to help stretch food dollars, as well as food tastings, which will include recipes and affordable food suggestions. Participants will receive weekly, educational enhancements that go along with the topic of the day. Week # 7 Make A Change will show families different ways to limit or substitute foods that are high in fat, sugar, and salt. The weekly educational enhancement is a water bottle.
The Brewster Branch of MPL opened in September 1935 thanks in part to donations from the Brewster community. In September 2007, the renamed Pam S. Belloni Branch opened its new location inside the new Fairless Elementary School.
